[Moonlit Mechanics]

mastering was bad

You know, the mastering wasn't THAT bad. I didn't have any clipping or anything, and maybe the bass, and kick was kinda loud.... but gives it a difference feel.

This can be used for a movie seen or a CSI montage seen....lol, when they're doing all their experiments.

I don't have any criticism or tips on this, ambient isn't my forte and would give bad advice anyways, but as a listener this was good.

this is like a cool industrial / DnB. With a Baby bell in the background.

1:09 ish, crazy kick/bass.... i can see that being applied in other things.

This song by itself doesn't really stand on much, but like you were saying, it would be used for a remix. I'll check another song of yours out.

I'm so impressed. I'm really excited to hear all these when finished. I've been looking around Newgrounds for some good artists, and I think have found one. I can't really give much advice or criticism since I'm not exactly pro. But when the songs are complete i'd be happy to give my opinion.

that sounds like a bass hunter rhythm

This is a slow "jump style" feel. I love that rhythm. Make this into a song.

Only an 8, and i'll vote u a 5 cuse u only have a 3 and this should be a 4.

interesting

The intro was good, but then the kick and the sounds got really confusing after 20 or so seconds. There was distortion on the kick, and didn't go well with the ears.

The melody was very unique, i'll give u that. It almost had a native american feel. The main synth after 1:22 was cool, had an interesting melody. I never really got into the song at any point.

I think you have potential. My advice would be to remake a song u really like, so u can figure a could pattern for a song overall. Once u really do well on a remake, then write ur own stuff using a similar pattern. This kind went into a bunch of different feels and genres.

I can see though that u put time an effort into this so good job. There were some cool effects and panning and stuff.

Anyways, I uploaded my first song to Newgrounds. Could you leave me a review? (Track One_RR) in the techno section. It was weird, i had 2 votes of 5 and 2 downloads then i got another download and that person voted a 0 or something. Whats up with that? lol.

Anyways, look foward to hearing ur improvements in the future.

Distortion Awesome

The intro was epic. The guitar distortion, the strings, the timing, the melody, it was just epic.

I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 because i was hoping you'd use harsher percussion through out the song, but it sounded too islandy.... but maybe I'm missin the point of the song with that. But I'll still vote 5 cause this was above the amatuer bar.

whats interesting is that you can keep people's attention for so long.... well done.

Great loop

I would love to hear this in a song.

My favorite part is 20 seconds when the low synth (almost bass guitar sounding) comes in and makes that great chord progression.
